Wow. Sunshine

It feels like it has been a long time, but today we saw the sun.

It's been a long week (surviving as a single parent), but due to the usual cock ups at work; I will be working from home tomorrow.

That's good, as it will knock 3 hours of needless commuting off my day, and allow me to do a bit more of that lovely thing we call admin.

John seems a bit more perky; but still tired and having his usual meltdown when it's time for bed.

I think he is going to be so happy come Saturday when the other half of the family is back.

In the meantime, Spurs are on the TV in 5 minutes which means I'll be able to have watched football for 4 nights running. There are some advantages of being on my own on a night ;)

Whilst watching the footy lastnight I moved a step towards one of my <40 bucketlist; and have booked flights for October to go to Munich with my best mate for a drink or 2 :)
