High Dam

Six of us were sure the rain would stop so that we could enjoy a sunset swim in High Dam Tarn. The rain did stop but the sun never quite managed to get through the mist, although it tried really hard. The water did go pink at one point but the photos with the GoPro were too fuzzy.  Water temperature 12.9°, a bit on the chilly side but toasty warm inside a wetsuit. Made Mr P swim 500m before he got out because if you've trekked all the way up to the tarn you might as well swim the equivalent of 20 lengths
Picnic on the beach then torches to find our way back to the carpark.
