Kilimanjaro

Today me and Mrs MD arrived at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on our Virtual Mountaineering odyssey - courtesy of our trusty treadmill.
Mount Kilimanjaro is a dormant volcanic mountain in Tanzania. It's the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world at 5,895 metres or 19,341 feet above sea level.  This is the sign at the peak of the mountain.
The way this COVID situation is progressing we think Mount Everest could be a possibility.......
With that thought we're off now to the Himalayas to see what challenges there are.  No passports, no quarantine - the perfect way to travel.....
