Gently down the stream

Wood and iron

There is a lot of rather lovely ironwork on old buildings in Winchester.  I thought it might be quite fun (for me, if not for you ;)) to blip a bit of it, so here is the first offering.  This beautiful piece of blacksmithing is attached to one of the wooden doors by the Watergate of the cathedral.

Today I had lunch with my sis at The Bell in St Cross.  Of course little Jax was with her and there's a pic of him sitting on our table (tsk tsk) in the pub garden.  Lots of good chats and veggie spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce.

After which I had a very enjoyable walk back into town and so home.

Enjoy your evening  xx
