Elspeth

Very sad news today. I found out that my lovely friend Elspeth died yesterday. She had been suffering from MND. She was part of our ecumenical Lighthouse Group and a group of us took part in the Virtual Kiltwalk recently to raise money for MND Scotland.
This picture (she’s the one in the middle) was taken at the end of March last year, not long before her diagnosis. It was to be my last long walk with her; a stage on the St Cuthbert’s Way.
She was always positive and such fun to be around. Right up to the end.
