Selsley walk

Met up with a friend after work and we had a three mile walk up around Selsey Common with the dog (yes she’s the one walking back to us in the photo).

Really beautiful views and a place I need to explore more. Loved seeing those strange but pretty ridges running across the golden field that leads down to the church. We ended up walking back to our cars in the dark as the light quickly disappeared.

Enjoyed home made sorrel soup this evening (version 2), less cream, more stock (vegetarian this time), one less egg yolk - I’m delighted with it, scrumptious and so fantastic for this time of year!
