Almost Home

After a ten hour round trip - not all of it road time - Jamie is home from his extended holiday with is friend A.    Five minutes from home we passed through Aberdovey and he grabbed a quick Blip for me through the car window.

Ruth's stand-in social worker whom I spoke to yesterday called me this morning - thank goodness for hands free - and has at least got the message that the meeting must take place tomorrow.  She's also read all the reports, some of which we contest.   Think she's also got the message that I won't be easily rolled over but at the moment she's understandably sticking to the script that the assessments have been done and there can be no change.    No doubt we will have to pursue this with a higher authority if there is no movement.
