it’s a pigeon - which me and the boo - have been stalking - for minutes as its - been hovering nearby - she crouched by my feet - me at the ready - with my camera - i was able to hone in - on this pigeon flying - towards us then rearing back - in this wondrous pose - as he got ready - to light onto the roof - over us -

no edits here other - than a mere cropping - so you can see - those great markings on his face - they remind of war paint somehow - it’s always difficult to - capture a bird in flight - and though this might - not be my best shot - i loved that face - and for that reason it becomes...
