Tiny Tuesday: Dew on Feather

MaryElizaR asked us to look for something low down for today's Tiny Tuesday challenge.

This morning I looked down at the lawn and saw that there were some lovely dew drops on the lawn, with the sunshine making them sparkle, so I decided to photograph them for my blip. But I was extra lucky: I spotted a little feather nestling upside down between some of the blades of grass, covered with tiny droplets the largest of which was about 1.5mm diameter. Out came my macro lens and extension tubes: this is a 10-layer in-camera focus stack. My Editor thinks it looks a bit like a weird little insect!

It was worth getting wet for, lying prone on the wet grass!
