Inside Queen Ann's Lace

I often noticed red dots on or in Queen Ann's lace flowers.  Today looking down inside,  I found red chiggers in some and colonies of black insects in others.  Thanks to MaryEliza for today's challenge.  I wouldn't have known what the insects were otherwise.  I kept snapping until this one crawled out of the center for a clearer shot.  Having trouble with macros today, so this is the best I could do.

We just had some (mild) excitement while I was posting this.  The sun lit up the top of the trees in my window in such an unusual way.  When I went out to blip it, one rainbow appeared and then a double rainbow!

Thanks for your visits.  I hope you have a good day and evening.
