Bubbling brook on Warley Woods

Overnight, with snow melt and heavy rain, the narrow gully cutting across the meadow of Warley Woods is turned into a babbling brook flowing into an overnight pool.
The reading from the gospels this morning: John 4.13: 'everyone who drinks this water will thirst again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.'
