Bodysgallen hall
Originally a watchtower for Conwy castle, Bodysgallen has grown fairly organically since 1620, when the next oldest part of the house was constructed. I think I've fallen in love with it. The staff were perfect, all gave the impression that they really enjoyed their job.
Thick snow in the morning blew horizontally across the terrace and made me hope we'd be snowed in. We spent the morning sitting by one of the lovely fires, reading,(both), knitting (me). The snow stopped and we had a look round Conwy, then managed to make our way to the spa for swimming and a hot stone massage.
