Sunburst at sunset

It was a beautiful evening for a 4 mile walk in the hills.  As I was coming back the sun was glinting through the trees and the last of the summer flowers were arrayed in all their splendor.  

It's been a busy day.  We decided to put off our trip north for a few days after my client presentation on Thursday.  In the meantime, I had to have all of my pre-op tests done for my upcoming surgery in a few weeks.  I was shocked at how long it took to get a couple of x rays and blood work.  I was there for over 2 hours.  But it got done!  Yeah.  

We came home and I got to work preparing for the presentation.  Then early this evening I went out for my walk.  There is nothing like a long walk to put things in perspective.
