Golden

A long phone catch-up with friends in England in the morning (rolling into the afternoon!) followed by a short drive over to Cumbernauld to pay my respects to my friend's mother as her funeral cortege passed by the church. Sadly, because of the current restrictions, only the family were able to be present in person. Met quite a few of my church friends by the roadside and had several socially distanced blethers with them. It was the first time many of us had seen one another 'for real' in many months.

Over to Kilsyth for some shopping - the town has 'proper' fishmonger, butcher and greengrocer shops - and then a very pleasant walk around the Colzium Estate, some of it looking very autumnal in the afternoon sunshine.
