Errands

THANK YOU for all the birthday greetings yesterday!  You are all fab!

So, after all that excitement, a plain grey day today ... hahaha!

As you can see, hardly anyone about.  It was the weather, combined with the latest COVID speech from our prime minister putting all of the country under new restrictions, although not in lockdown.  Numbers are rising here again, and that can't be good.  I especially have an issue with people who insist on putting others at risk and do not give a fuck about what's going on and just go about as though all is well.  Because not all is well.  Far from it.  This will sound unkind but I have stopped caring if they themselves fall ill.  They will have learned the lesson too late but their departure might spare the rest.

Putting the other problems in other parts of the world on my mental back burner.  Need to keep things neat and running where we are.  And if that means replenishing stocks of milk, porridge, soup and puree for AW, then so be it!
