Chestnuts
First plant some trees and wait at least twenty years for them to get to a decent size. Then make sure the ground underneath is clear to enable one to find the cases as they fall off the tree.. Then gather the horribly spiky things and try and remove the nuts from within them. Then shell them. Then remove the skins. Evenutally eat them. Not a quick process.
We are about to test how difficult the last three stages in the process are.....
