Castle Poplar

Wide Wednesday has a theme of tall and suggests towers or mountains - we have neither near us and the weather doesn't facilitate an outing. 

Grey and raining, we did have a walk around the village, and this is the garden of someone with children who had too much fun (is that possible?). The poplars have been well tended over the years, and now stand proud over a very nice garden and millpond.

After driving to the blood donation clinic and finding my haemoglobin was too low to donate I've worried my ever-loving wife... I'm looking forward to some healthy vitals later today. Lots of nutritious vegetables, yum.
