The Guardians

A big day for us. After 26 months J’s Mum’s flat has finally sold, a huge relief to J and her sister (and me). It’s involved all sorts of unexpected obstacles and turns of event, and an awful lot of effort.

We have not been able to visit since the beginning of the year. But I think the gnomes are still there, keeping an eye on the front door and looking after things.

This is a screenshot, the first time I have not used a pic taken on the day. But it’s important to record the moment. The ivy has probably embraced the gnomes further since I took this.
