I phoned the  Dr at 8am. Got a telephone appt at 8.05am and was in the waiting room at 9am as he needed to see my ear. 
As I knew, no infection, just needs syringed. He explained that they aren't meant to be syringing due to Covid, but said my ear couldn't be left. He knew the nurses won't do it, so he said he would. He also said he isn't trained in syringing so needs time to practice. He told me to change to Almond Oil for a week and he made me an appt for Tuesday. I was so grateful to him. I can put up with the deafness, but the pain is unbearable at times.

This afternoon went up to donate my 39th pint of blood, I was a bit early so I had a wander through the Meadows.
