Tenet

Josh and I went to Abbey Cinema in Abingdon to see Tenet. My first cinema trip since February. They have tables and a good menu so we ordered pizzas and beer. I really wanted to love the place but there were just 14 of us in the whole place and it was pretty cold, we had to brush crumbs off our seats before we sat down, and the food was dreadful. The couple sat at the table to my left talked all through the film which felt rather inconsiderate.

The staff were lovely though and Covid precautions good. As for the film - wow - I need to think about it and possibly see it again. Josh was seeing it for the second time as he wanted to understand it a bit better. Quite mind blowing! My friend Heather had to see it again too - how clever, make a film everyone wants to watch twice...
