Pumpkin patch

Today we went to the Amish greenhouse to buy some pansies for our mother's birthday. I wanted a few more kale and cabbage plants but they were sold out and I guess it is to late in the season anyway. They had some very nice pumpkins and what may be the last sweet corn of the season. 
Sugar had a spa date and hubby got a tooth filled. We cut more grass when we got home but there is 3" of  water standing in parts of our yard from the heavy rains we got last night. Our tenants move out tomorrow so we will be busy with that for a week or so I guess. No rest for us until we head back to the farm mid October!
