Tools of the trade

This landlady lark isn't all glamour you know. Some days I'm Jill of all trades. Today involved fitting a new shower seal, moving furniture for the painters who will be doing a quick "freshen up" at some point this week. Then hemming a new curtain for the window on the door.

All good jobs to be doing when the weather outside was foul and sleety all day. But it was just for a day, and other parts of the country had it worse.
