Moonset

It was still pretty dark when the moon set this morning. Atmospheric disturbance made it appear fuzzy. Still, it was a beautiful sight. I was glad I made the effort to get up in time. Others in my collection.

I went to Christchurch to do my fortnightly shopping. Well, part of it anyway. Even though I skipped some of the places I wanted to go I came home exhausted. I’ve put away the cold stuff, but the rest will have to wait until tomorrow.

Among the plants I bought were two small swan plants, which I hope will grow in time to act as backups for my tall ones with the monarch butterfly eggs on. The caterpillars are voracious eaters. I was thrilled at the response to my monarch blip yesterday.
