Rinkoffs
My potential photo ramble with a couple of camera chums didnt happen so I scraped around in the bottom of the barrel and found Ron to go out with. We rode down to Stepney where I had recently discovered the bakers in a courtyard just off the Mile End Road.
It's a great venue and we had an interesting chat with Mr Rinkoff himself. Here he is explaining the current popularity of sourdough bread which, apparently, is all that people want nowadays.
He is the third generation of this east end institution. Great coffee and tasty buns available.
Ron and I had a good moan at him (all good humoured) about the joy of a proper multi-grain loaf which we used to be able to get before all the small bakers closed and fashions changed.
