Snowflake
Evening all.
Another snowy day today.
The forecasters had said mid afternoon, and mid afternoon it was, just when i could've done without it, flurry after flurry, heavier and heavier.
Rather ironically, i drive a Skoda Yeti, and it is totally rubbish in the snow, slips and slides all over the damn place, whoever decided to call it that must've been having a small chuckle up their shirt sleeves at the naming ceremony!
Anyway, this photo was taken earlier on in the day, on the road heading into Sheffield through the Grenoside woods.
If i had a wider lens, a tripod and an ability to stop the traffic that hurtle up and down the road it would've been a sharper photo, but it was a case of leg it into the middle of the road, frame up whilst listening out for the screech of oncoming traffic, then charge back to the relative safety of the embankment til the cars had gone, then begin all over again.
Still, snow came, snow gone, snow bother...
night all
