People in Glass Houses

Slept pretty well....binmen day, so wide awake not long after 7, downstairs with a brew just after 8.

Much better day weather wise so we took ourselves off to Southport for a few hours.

Sunny but chilly, very very quiet though ........ maybe because "the rules" are confusing people, if the message is unclear it leads to mistakes and I really believe most people dont want to make mistakes and break "the rules" !

We enjoyed a coffee & bacon barm at our "go to" tearooms, then a longish walk, including the Pier & Lord Street got 11k steps in :-)

Home before 4, pretty quiet on the M6 southbound, unlike the massive standing tailback on the northbound carriageway, following an accident :-/

Todays blip is the Wayfarers Arcade on Lord Street. Its a sad sight these days, hardly any businesses left open, just the cafe as far as I could tell....such a shame that this beautiful arcade is likely to close soon I should think :-(

Dinner tonight was prawn and smoked salmon pasta bake with asparagus.

Now to catch up on some stuff we have downloaded on tv.....nothing much else to do tonight.
