Hunger is the best seasoning

In NE Brazil the saying is 'fome é o melhor tempero' (see above). Today was a case in point- I got a lot done. After breakfast I left aA at Lisbon airport, went hardware shopping, travelled to Evora, got the dental panoramic X-ray done that my dentist had asked for, did a bit more shopping and got home with an inspiring hunger and (fortunately) enough energy to make something to eat.
