Got Love?

My mom started having mild labor pains on Valentine's Day, my due date. I was not born until the 18th. The year I was born, there was a terrible blizzard and my dad was at home when I was born, looking after my 3 sisters. My brother was in military school, and was given a formal announcement of my birth in class.

I have never had a good relationship with Valentine's Day. Who has the funds to spring on candy, flowers, champagne, dinner, etc., then turn around four days later and celebrate all over again?

Don't get me wrong. After all, I call myself The Love Child, and have to admit that getting chocolate makes any day better.

In an effort to make amends with this commercial holiday, I put a bit of effort into today's Blip, and made you all a heart of candy hearts.
