Worcester

Was impressed with Worcester, what a lovely town. Mooched a bit along the river and around and in the cathedral in the morning, met Francis and Sheila for lunch: tried Brown's on the Quay which according to their website was serving all day AND still doing 50% off but was actually closed; then tried a famous pub selling award winning pies (extra) but were in reality not serving food; eventually found a "sports bar" where we had decent food and watched a bit of IPL cricket and chatted for a couple of hours (probably no cricket fans here, but Sheila knew Basil D'Oliveira, Duncan Fearnley, George Headley, amongst others...). Then I drove to James in Nottingham in horrendous driving weather, had a pleasant evening with him...
