Abstracted Flowers and Wide Wednesday Results
We had a day of errands with no real opportunities for a blip so as these colours will soon be gone I have abstracted a section of our flower garden.
Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.
Wide Wednesday results:
Favourites to:
Howesruth Neat gardening and a sweeping lead in, following the path up to the house.
Sheol imaginative use of a wide angle lens in close, and a subject good enough to eat.
60plus a mono landscape with turbines, a dry stone wall and great clouds.
DavidC splashes of colour, in close with a fish eye and more great clouds.
Isbi a thumbnail which made me think of Harald Mante and a whole image in his colourful style
Honourable Mentions to:
DollyDoug a tall memorial to a local character with some of the history too
Rock Area a mono church tower
Serious Frolic a church with a tower but from a very different style of architecture
LauriesPictos tall trees in the sunlight and a Haiku too
Anniebelle an ultra modern development towers above a traditional yacht
Special mention for:
Freespiral a fine classical coastal landscape
Thanks to everyone who entered, as ever, there were some great interpretations of the theme and those chosen are just my preference. I tend to go for images which grab my attention or jump out rather than go for a lengthy consideration session.
Thanks for putting up with me for the past couple of weeks, and for the kind comments on my own Wide Wednesday effort.
