Preparing for winter

The ‘gutter man’ visited today to clear out the house gutters. He arrived at 8.30 am prompt, which meant that I had to be out of bed earlier than is my norm these days. It’s amazing how much debris collects, but they are cleared for the next few years.

Amber was confined to the house for the morning, so she gave me a running commentary on everything going on outside, including the odd random cat, the new postman .....etc 

Odds and ends done. The weather has been good most of the day, so I was able to do my walk late afternoon. A bit further today.
