The Platform that Never Was

I took this picture to try to capture high springs tide at the boat float in Dartmouth. What struck me about it was the platform cafe.

There is no train station in Dartmouth, its across the river in Kingswear, but Dartmouth built a platform for the ferry over to the station to put it on the train map. The platform building has been various styles of cafes and is now a champagne bar.

It still has pride of place on the quay :)
