Dancing Moorhen

............. he was having a wash and brush up in the village brook as I walked over the little bridge ........ he was so engrossed in his ablutions that he didn’t even notice I was there ;-))

I’ve never really noticed before what huge feet Moorhens have ........ and it seems odd that they are not even partly webbed, considering how much time they spend swimming in the water ........ just saying ;-))
