presentation is everything

the frantic month that is February continued today. Valentine's Day for us is sort of secondary, our eldest had her birthday celebrated today so everything else is a lower priority.

We had planned to make one of her fave meals, which was going grand until I realised a vital ingredient was missing. Madame kindly went out to find said ingredient. There was also a plan to make a cake, and do two skypes with family abroad and eat said meal and have my sister pop by.

We managed to get the majority done but I am keen to sleep as another very busy day tomorrow.

The cake was delicious and love is in the air, as always.
