Birthday Balloon Fight

Balloon fighting with a 3 year old is so satisfying, they are no match for a fully grown, but immature, 71 year old!
Today is Hendrixs' third birthday. Yesterday we prepared some stuff for a little party and Marlane wrapped up a couple of things she'd got for him.
It's been quite a fun day, started off with me making fresh scotch pancakes/scones for breakfast. I've never made them before and they were ok but I'd like them to be a bit thicker. Have to experiment or look for one of those American recipes.
Lots of playing this morning and then Lennon and Dhylan turned up (Lennons' school has an 'Inset day' and Dhylan has funny Covid hours at college). Party food and cake, what more could a 3 year old want, or a 16 and a 13 year old for that matter HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We are now at rest, until this evening as Julia has just rang and said they'd (Julia and the twins) would be here for the weekend starting this evening.
