Green Idyll (threatened)

Every time I visit the place where I grew up and where my parents still live, I wonder at the amount of new houses that have been built since I left. The village's population must have increased by a third or so. This is seldom to the advantage of the place, and my parents are very lucky indeed that they still benefit from a view like this from their bedroom.
