Another restless night...another 6.30 surrender.

Last night the Daughter phoned to tell me the dentist had phoned to confirm my 9.40 appointment for today!

I got Dad up at 8.30. Phoned the dentist at 9.00.....I was right....he was wrong...my appointment isn't today....it should have been next Monday...but he'd done it for today. I explained I was over 100 miles away and couldn't make it....the receptionist said that was o.k. because obviously the new crown isn't ready yet. So I now have a new appointment for 4.40 next Tuesday.

Left Dad's at 9.30...bright sunshine...all snow melted. Drove about 5 miles....and ran into typical Vale of York fog....lasted for about 15 miles....at least a dozen cars passed me doing 60mph......with no lights on....and most of them silver....pillocks!

Got home just after 12.oo.

Nice quiet afternoon to myself...a sandwich and coffee....and the United match from last night.

The Boss got back from her Dad's about 6.00....and she'd got me a card !....she must be going softer as she gets older. Gave her what you see in the blip.

We went to the quiz tonight....won....easy.....55 points out of 60! The brother in law and his lovely partner drove over from Halifax to join us.

Now there's just the two of us.....looking at each other....knackered....who said romance was dead?

I now have a problem with my computer....the fan has stopped working....and it's only 8 months old! Communique to hp tomorrow methinks. Might make blipping difficult if it needs to go away for repair. Trying to use it sparingly...so will catch up on comments tomorrow.
