A bit of a contrast to yesterday's sunny, breezy weather, which was perfect for walking. My only outing: to the shop in Fabrezan, and I took this once I was safely back in the car. However we don't have it anywhere near as bad as Provence: see this video, with sound on so you can appreciate the excellent commentary. Let's hope people are staying safely at home.

Edit: unfortunately at least 8 people have died in the severe flooding, including some who were in their home when it was swept away.

No comment on the big news of the day. Not even putain de merde. In local news, I made 40 blini with some of my bouncy sourdough starter, so dinner was blini with smoked trout and crème fraîche.
