Venus and Cupid

Officially entitled ''Love, The Most Beautiful Of Absolute Disasters', but popularly known as 'Venus and Cupid', is a sculpture by Shane A. Johnstone which stands on a slight promontory beside Morecambe Bay
After a bracing walk along the promenade we visited St Peter’s Church in Heysham.  Next to the church is the peaceful Glebe Garden. Recently transformed by local volunteer gardeners from an overgrown and neglected area into an oasis of peace and calm.  My extra is a collage of the delights to be found within its walls :-)
