Better weather than predicted

The weather forecast didn’t look very promising but it turned out to be gorgeous this morning. A lovely walk in the woods with my daughter ticked off day 2 of my challenge and we were home in time for lunch.

I seem to have tweaked a muscle at the top of my chest near my shoulder - dr google tells me it is the pectoralis major and it should heal with rest. I have no idea how I’ve done it but it’s quite tender. A hot water bottle has helped this afternoon (as did the wee nap I had!)

Phin has been both good and naughty by turns today and has learned to drop stones instead of chewing on them so that’s progress. he’s mostly done his business outside, apart from a wee accident on the living room carpet after his dinner. Can’t be angry at him though as he’s just a puppy!

Thanks to Anni-BikerBear for hosting flower Friday. My roses are blooming again after their last deadheading so thought they were worthy of blipping today. Extras of the wee man and tonight’s sunset - think it’s the calm before the storm!
