Sunbakers
A beautiful sunny day for a coastal walk from Dee Why to Collaroy. Children paddling in the lagoon, a beach wedding, hang gliders and paragliders, and a pub lunch at the halfway mark. On the way back there was the bonus of surfers changing out of their swimmers behind open car doors. They didn’t expect us to be coming up the middle of the car park.
I’ve attempted some silly riffs on Max Dupain’s famous 1937 b&w photograph, Sunbaker.
