Valentine's Day Dinner

We had a lovely day! First we got up at 05.15 to get ready to catch the water taxi, then road taxi, down to Millet in the centre of St Lucia to the south of where we are staying. We had booked a 3 hour bird watching trip with an excellent guide, Charmaine, who found many species for us including the St Lucian parrot which Mr T managed to photograph in flight - he was thrilled. I had my macro lens and got some nice shots of bugs.

The rest of the day was spent having a late breakfast, swimming in the pool at our B&B then heading to the beach where I sat in a comfy chair with a pot of peppermint tea while Mr T snorkelled and got some great photos of fish on the mini reef.

For our evening meal we booked a DIY BBQ by the pool: steak and salads. Mr T gave the steaks 2 minutes each side then after we'd eaten we swam under the stars and finished our red wine. Romantic? Yes!
