A long tail

Forbidden from meeting friends indoors at home, we did what you have to - meet them in a Seafood and Cocktail Bar for lunch of course. So, a very enjoyable few hours with McC the elder and the petite Ms of that ilk. 
What chats? And What’s been happening? Trump and Biden had a debate - I’ve not seen the highlights but I hear that it was a wonderful spectacle - two talented orators at the top of their game debating their contrasting visions for the future of their country and indeed of mankind. And the planet and everything.
And a joy to read this - “a successful vaccine for Covid-19 will not conquer the spread of the virus alone, with restrictions on daily life likely to continue for some time, a team of experts have said.”
I think I’m with Gove here on bloody experts.  
And just to round off the day, one of Scotland’s brightest MPs* found herself with a positive test result for covid and did what anyone would do, yes, got on a train in London and travelled back to Glasgow. Clearly La Sturgeon’s much-praised consistent and clear messaging isn't reaching into some dark recesses of our benighted land.
