Farewell to Piers

Today we took the heart-rending decision that it was time to say goodbye to Piers, after his condition - and quality of life - deteriorated quite rapidly over the past 24 hours.

Strangely, over the past day or so, he'd found some kind of relief by lying on our front doormat, so here is our last picture of him here after 13 months in our lives (4th September 2019 - 3rd October 2020).
