Pink diary

I can see I’m going to struggle to find something pink for a month. This is my diary for next year. It cost me the princely sum of £1 from the card shop. We have a shared electronic diary but I like a paper one to make lists etc. Hopefully it will have more than my to-do list next year. We’d booked a holiday cottage in Cornwall for half term near to where our family are staying. We wanted to see the grandchildren even with social distancing. The Agency rang yesterday to say the owner wanted to cancel. He was worried about virus ridden Northerners infecting his village. She didn’t phrase it quite like that but that was the underlying message. We’re all very disappointed at not meeting up.
