R, S and Olive arrived this morning to return my car after collecting R’s from the garage. Hopefully the problem with her car has been resolved.

R made late breakfast for everyone, most enjoyable. 

This afternoon B and I had our flu jabs. B has one every year, but I don’t normally have one. I’ve had two during my life, the first one many years ago when I was a young newly appointed ward sister. Matron marched on to the ward and I was told to go to the hospital board room to have an injection,  to set an example to the rest of the nurses on my ward!!! A first of the annual jabs for the staff.

I had side effects and spent a very miserable couple of days afterwards!!! The second flu jab 20+ years later had the same side effects!! 

This year, in view of the ‘virus’ and my recent surgery, I decided that it was safer to have it, irrespective of any side effects. 

We were impressed with the system that was in place. In and out in less than 3 minutes!!! 

So far I’m feeling fine !!!

It has been a very wet day !!!
