NOT happy

It rained all day. Non stop. But that didn’t stop Elizabeth coming for Archie as usual. Though they didn’t do their usual long walk - just a brief one, then hung out at her house. Archie would be happy with that.

I watched the tennis and relaxed, while JR whizzed round like it was spring - cleaning, polishing, waxing furniture, oiling the kitchen benches. 

In the afternoon Hazel came over to see the new acquisitions. She loved it all, especially the Frame TV. She also especially loved the new coffee table, which is higher than the old one, so guess who didn’t like it much... Archie couldn’t see the food, nor could he rest his chin on the table. NOT HAPPY. At one point he put his paw up and tried to scratch the table to show his displeasure. Tough!

We had a pleasant evening in our ‘bubble’ with Hazel. We had bubbles, of course, and a big selection of nibbles.

I think the rain is continuing tomorrow. *sigh*
