Good morning!

Every working day morning I walk down this bit of the lane to the gate where the oak tree tries to kill me at this time of year, pelting me with acorns. I’m either fetching ponies in for a few hours or taking them out to the paddocks, depending on the season. At the moment, I’m bringing them in for a bit during the day. They have a feed, some hay and a sleep and usually their owners come to visit. It won’t be long before we change over to the winter routine, with everybody in at night and stables to muck out instead of poo picking in paddocks. I’m ready for that actually, had enough poo picking for now!
