Birthday Boy part III

Soggy, damp, soaking, sodden, wet, and wild.
We booked a trip to Chester Zoo for Owen for his birthday. Coronavirus means that you have to book tickets in advance and unfortunately you can't book the weather in advance. Any misgivings we had though were forgotten the second he saw the elephants.
He immediately started doing his elephant noise and trunk sign and shouting to us in case we'd not noticed. He was so excited about everything he saw, even the plethora of puddles, and although we were all a bit fed up of walking and queuing in the rain and would have stayed longer otherwise, it's fair to say Owen had a really good day, topped off by McDonald's and a McFlurry on the way home.
