A really beautiful morning, misty, perfect for a refreshing walk.  I couldn't resist this web attached to an old mailbox.  There were so many spider webs and I'm still trying to get a good photo of one. I did add an attempt as the first extra and a tree house in the mist as a second extra. I posted a photo of trees in the mist in my other journal.
The ferry foghorns have been sounding all day, although it's clear and sunny at our place. Nice to live at a higher elevation. It was a perfect temperature to turn the soil and dig in mushroom manure in the bed where I'll be planting the garlic soon. 
I had a good conversation with my cousins, BeachesDoogie and Impy, who are now settling into their new house just across Samsun Narrows from us. So fantastic to have them living close, something so different for me to have relatives from my side nearby. Can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks, if not sooner! Quite the change from Toronto for them!
